Funny Attacks in Lebanese Media

It can’t get funnier.

The Lebanese Forces website at the top of their page has placed a breaking news. What a news!

It is about FPM’s website but it has no relation with politics. They commented on tayyar.org’s statistics about the clicks that they get.

I was bored so I made a small research and had fun with it for 10 minutes.

Here is a screenshot from the Lebanese Forces website:

As you can see, they are stating that FPM’s website has written that they get their clicks from 205 different countries and according to LF research there are 195 countries in the whole world.

The fun part starts here…

The analysis that websites get are as follows: 20,466 visits came from 112 countries/territories.

The definition of territory: A territory (from the word ‘terra’, meaning ‘land’) is a defined area (including land and waters), considered to be a possession of a person, organization, institution, animal, state or country subdivision.

Now the question comes and a fast search gives the result…
Q: How many countries and territories are there in the world?
A: 193 countries, 61 territories and 6 disputed territories. (total number = 260).

This means tayyar.org gets 78.8 % clicks from the whole world.
According to my friend, he gets 1 click from many countries/territories this means the percentage of 78% is achievable.

Update2: Two days passed from the time I sent them an email about the subject but they have rejected to remove the article and at the same time didn’t dare to send a reply. Lebanese Forces Media = Bankrupted Media!
