Rosarita Tawil became the new Miss Lebanon on Friday but Lebanese people seem to be too much interested in finding scandals about our newly crowned beauty.

The second prime started with a laugh on our face. The whole family agreed that what Tony was wearing is funny.

Assi El-Hallani sang a song and then with a show, the girls came in. They got questioned by the jury and some of the answers were simply stupid. After that, Assi El-Hallani sang his second song. I can assure you that he was better than Haifa who was in there last time.

6 contestants (out of 12) were chosen to qualify to the next round. The 6 girls are: Michella Haddad, Stephanie Salem, Stephanie Khattar, Abir Habchy, Rosarita Tawil and Eliana Atallah.
These 6 girls were asked the same question which was “what is the most important lesson that you have learned from a mistake in your life?”.

After this round, Assi El-Hellani sang “Bekfi Ennak Lebneni” (a really great song).

It was the time to announce the results..

The Prime had political talk in it too but don’t worry, there wasn’t anyone attacking any party. They were just congratulating the Lebanese for the Unity government.

I wanted to make a small statistics on how people are reaching my blog to view the post about Miss Lebanon 2008.

So I started collecting data just after I posted my first post about Miss Lebanon and in my own opinion, the results were kind of surprising.

Here is the statistics:
Rosarita Tawil – 40.13%
Dolly Ayash – 34.21%
Eliane Nemer – 13.82%
Abir Habchy – 6.58%
Patricia Chahine – 2.63%
Eliana Atallah – 1.97%
Sara Medawar – 0.66%

As one can see, Rosarita Tawil got checked the most but the surprising result was Dolly Ayash. She was eliminated from the contest last Friday and till today, some people are searching about her.

The first prime is over with Haifa Wehbe singing her new songs. It seemed to me that she was not comfortable while singing her songs specially the first time she sang.

In this prime, 6 girls got eliminated from the contest. The girls who got eliminated are Jessica Radi, Elise Maalouf, Nisrine Mrad, Rita Kabbabe, Anwaar Abou Hamdan and Dolly Ayash.

I wanted to check people’s opinion about the contest so I checked Lebanese message boards. Most members there are describing the girls as “ugly” and in their opinion no one from the contestants will be able to compete in Miss World or Miss Universe.
